THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT WAS APPROVED IN COMMISSIONER'S COURT, BUT I JUST WANTED TO MAKE IT KIND OF FINAL WHERE THE LONGEVITY PAY WAS INCREASED FROM THE $60 A YEAR TO $75 A YEAR.

I JUST UPDATED THE POLICY JUST SO WE WOULD HAVE THIS ON RECORD.

OKAY, SO OUR CURRENT STOP LOSS, AND THIS IS THE INSURANCE POLICY, HOW WE PAY OUR OWN CLAIM.

SO THIS IS THE DOLLAR AMOUNT THAT WE PAY UP TO, AND THEN WE HAVE A STOP LOSS POLICY THAT KICKS IN AND IT REIMBURSES US ANYTHING OVER THAT STOP LOSS AMOUNT.

IT'S VERY EXPENSIVE EVERY YEAR.

THE RENEWALS ARE VERY HIGH.

ORIGINALLY UNITEDHEALTHCARE WANTED ABOUT A 13% INCREASE FOR OUR PREMIUM.

THEY DID GO BACK AND SHARPEN THEIR PENCILS, BUT IT STILL WOULD BE A 7% INCREASE, WHICH IS, IS AN ADDITIONAL ALMOST $70,000 A YEAR IN PREMIUM.

IF WE STAY AT 1 75.

UH, MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO MOVE THAT TO 200,000 AND IT ACTUALLY WILL BE A NEGATIVE 3% DE DECREASE IN PREMIUM BY DOING THAT.

SO, UM, THERE'S SEVERAL ITEMS

UH, ONE OF THE THINGS, IF, IF YOU RECALL, UH, THIS SEGMENT OF THE LOOP, UM, JUST DUE TO THE TREE VEGETATION, THERE WAS A LOT OF AREAS WHERE WE DID THE GEOTECH WORK AFTER WE CLEARED IT.

SO ONCE WE BID IT.

AND SO IN THE DESIGN SIDE, THERE'S SOME ASSUMPTIONS THAT WE MADE.

UM, ONE ON THE TREATMENT, UH, WE ASSUMED, AND THIS WAS BASED ON THE OTHER PHASES OF THE LOOP, WE ASSUMED ABOUT 50% WOULD BE LINE TREATED IN ABOUT 50%, UH, CEMENT TREATMENT.

BUT AS WE, UH, ONCE WE CLEARED THIS AS MAINLY SANDY SOILS.

AND SO ONE OF THE ELEMENT OF THIS CHANGE ORDER IS TO CHANGE EVERYTHING TO CEMENT TREATMENT.

UH, CEMENT IS A MORE EXPENSIVE APPROACH TO TREATING.

SO THAT'S A PART OF WHAT'S IN THIS CHANGE ORDER.

THE OTHER ELEMENT IS THE RETAINING WALL.

UH, THIS NEXT PICTURE I THINK GIVES YOU A GOOD, UH, SHOT.

SO THE TYPE OF WALLS HERE, SINCE WE'RE, UH, EFFECTIVELY ATTACHING THE WALLS TO THE ROCK, UM, THE WAY WE DO THAT IS IT'S A SOIL NAIL WALL.

SO THE SHOOTING NAILS INTO THE ROCK TO HOLD THE WALL UP.

AND SO THAT'S ANOTHER AREA WHERE WE, WE BASICALLY INVESTIGATE THAT ONCE WE'RE ABLE TO CLEAR.

UH, IF YOU RECALL ON PHASE FOUR, WE DID THE SAME THING AND ACTUALLY CAME BACK WITH A CREDIT, UH, CUZ THE ROCK WAS, UH, IN GOOD CONDITION.

AND THIS AREA THERE WAS SOME WEAK SEAMS IN THE ROCK.

SO WHAT WE'RE ASKING FOR IN THIS CHANGE ORDER IS, UH, WE'RE GONNA BASICALLY DO MORE NAILS, UH, TO MAKE SURE THAT, THAT THAT WALL MAINTAINS A STABILITY.

AND SO THAT'S, UH, PART OF THE CHANGE THAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS CHANGE ORDER.

UM, ANOTHER ELEMENT, UH, WAS ON EARTHWORK.

SO THIS IS SILVERSTONE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT YOU SEE HERE.

AND YOU CAN SEE, UM, OVER THE TIME, UH, AS THAT NEIGHBORHOOD WAS GETTING DEVELOPED, THERE'S, YOU KNOW, WAS, UM, WHAT KIND OF CIRCLE THE AREA HERE, UH, DIFFERENT FILLS THAT WERE PUT IN AS THE NEIGHBORHOOD WAS BEING BUILT.

AND THEN IN INVESTIGATING THOSE FILLS, UH, BASICALLY THEY, WE DIDN'T FEEL LIKE THEY WERE COMPACTED TO THE LEVEL THEY NEEDED TO BE.

SO WE ACTUALLY ASKED THE CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE IT AS ABOUT 10 FEET AND THEN PUT IT BACK, UH, AT THE COMP COMPACT BECAUSE IT WAS AT THE RIGHT ELEVATION.

IT WAS JUST A LOW AREA ORIGINALLY.

AND I GUESS AS THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS BEING DEVELOPED, THAT TURN TO BE KIND OF WHERE THEY DEPOSITED SOME OF THE EXCESS MATERIAL.

UH, ANOTHER ELEMENT, INCLUDING THIS CHANGE ORDER, UH, WE HAD A CONFLICT WITH A SEWER LINE THAT KIND OF RUNS IN THIS AREA AND THE CULVERT, UH, SO IT DIDN'T REALLY CHANGE THE CULVERT, BUT WE HAD TO CHANGE THE HEAD WALLS TO MISS THE SEWER.

AND, UH, IN DOING SO, WE MOVED THEM A LITTLE CLOSER TO THE ROAD AND THAT INTRODUCED SOME GUARDRAIL.

UH, CAUSE WE, WE TRY TO LIKE, GET 'EM FAR ENOUGH AWAY WHERE YOU CAN AVOID THE GUARDRAIL.

SO IT'S THE MODIFICATION OF THE HEAD WALLS, UH, IN ADDITION TO, UH, THE GUARDRAIL AS WELL.

UH, SO THOSE ITEMS, UM, THERE ARE SOME CREDITS.

UH, ONE OTHER ITEM I FAILED TO MENTION IS WHITE SETTLEMENT.

SO, UH, IF YOU'VE DRIVEN OUT THERE LATELY, WHITE SETTLEMENTS CURRENTLY CLOSED, UH, CUZ THE CONTRACTOR'S TRYING TO BUILD THE LOOP.

SO IN THIS PHOTO THE LOOP RUNS THROUGH HERE.

AND SO WE HAVE WHITE SETTLEMENT CLOSED IN THIS SEGMENT HERE.

UM, WE'RE TRYING TO GET THAT BACK OPEN.

THE ORIGINAL PLAN IS THAT THE LOOP WILL BECOME THE ACCESS TO SEVEN 30.

SO, UH, ONCE THE LOOP LUPUS COMPLETED AND A SIGNAL IS AT SEVEN 30, FOLKS ON WHITE SETTLEMENT WILL INTERSECT THE LOOP AND THEN, OR INTERSECT THE LOOP AND THEN GO TO THE SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION.

THE WAY THE CONSTRUCTION'S TIMING OUT, THERE'S GONNA BE A GAP.

SO THE PHASE TWO CONTRACTOR IS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE AND SO HE'S PLANNING TO ACTUALLY HAVE THIS PART BUILT BY THE END OF THIS MONTH, UH, AND ACTUALLY HAVE ALL HIS WORK DONE BY THE END OF FEBRUARY.

THE SIGNAL IS, UH, GONNA TAKE LONGER TO GET THE POLES IN, SO WE DON'T ANTICIPATE HAVING THE SIGNAL DONE UNTIL JUNE.

SO THE INTERSECTION IS, BUT THE, THE SIGNAL IS IN.

AND SO PART OF THIS CHANGE ORDER IS ONCE THEY FINISH THE LOOP IS TO ALSO BUILD WHAT WILL BE A TEMPORARY CONNECTION BACK TO, UH, WHITE SETTLEMENT.

SO WE CAN OPEN UP WHITE SETTLEMENT FOR THAT SIX MONTH TIME, UH, BEFORE THE SIGNAL'S PUT BACK IN.

BUT YOU'RE SAYING THAT'S GONNA RUN INTO FEBRUARY BEFORE YOU OPEN THAT BACK UP? NO.

SO WE, UH, I WAS STATING THAT THE CONTRACTOR PLANS TO BE DONE WITH ENTIRE PHASE.

OKAY.
