JUST THE BUDGET LINE ISN'T, IT WOULD MAKE HIM HAVE A DECREASE IN PAY THOUGH.
SO HE HAS PLENTY OF MONEY IN HIS PART-TIME LINE THAT HE'S NOT UTILIZED.
WE'D DO A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT OF THE $2,310 FROM THE PART-TIME LINE TO THE FULL-TIME LINE.
HE COULD TRANSFER AN EMPLOYEE, HE COULD TRANSFER AN EMPLOYEE OUT THERE WITHOUT TAKING A PAY CUT AND THEN HE, WE WOULD REPOST A POSITION FOR BUILDING AND GROUNDS
COMMISSIONER HOL HAS MADE THE SECOND.
IS THERE ANY OTHER DISCUSSION? NO, WE'RE IN THE DISCUSSION PHASE, BRIANNA.
SO AS PART OF THIS, UM, MARK WOULD ALSO LIKE TO HAVE A VEHICLE THAT WOULD BE TRANSFERRED FROM BUILDING AND GROUNDS OUT TO THE, THE CONVENIENCE CENTER.
IT WOULD NOT BE A TAKE HOME VEHICLE, BUT IT WOULD BE A VEHICLE WHERE IF THEY'RE PICKING UP, UM, WHATEVER IT IS FOR THE CONVENIENCE CENTER TO BE OUT THERE.
AND SO BECAUSE THIS WOULD BE A TRANSFER FROM BUILDING A GROUNDS TO THE CONVENIENCE CENTER, I SAID THAT WE NEED THOSE EXPENSES TO BE IN THE CONVENIENCE CENTER SINCE THOSE ARE TWO SEPARATE DEPARTMENTS.
AND SO, UM, THERE WOULD NEED TO BE FUEL COSTS IN THE CONVENIENCE CENTER AS WELL AS MAINTENANCE FOR THAT VEHICLE.
UM, SO THE VEHICLE WOULD GO THROUGH, YOU KNOW, INVENTORY CHANGE FORM WITH KIM, BUT WE WOULD NEED TO DO A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT, UH, FOR THOSE COSTS RELATED TO THE VEHICLE.
AND SO I ASKED, UH, FOR A BUDGET RELATED TO THAT THROUGH THE END OF THE YEAR, WE'LL ADJUST FOR THAT DURING THE BUDGET SESSION FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR, UM, AT THAT POINT.
AND SO, UH, FOR FUEL COST, UM, I WAS GIVEN A FIGURE OF $2,000 FOR FUEL AND THEN $500 FOR MAINTENANCE UNLESS SOMETHING WERE TO GO WRONG WITH THAT VEHICLE.
AND SO THEN I WOULD SUBMIT THAT, UM, AT A FUTURE COURT, UH, FOR THE OPERATING COSTS AS WELL AS THE BUDGET ADJUSTMENT THAT, UH, BECKY JUST SPOKE ABOUT RELATED TO THE, UM, SALARY COSTS.

UM, I DID PROVIDE Y'ALL EACH A COPY OF THE PBC BUDGET JUST WITH TWO NEW COMMISSIONERS.
I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA FOR Y'ALL TO SEE REALLY THE VALUE THAT WE GET WITH HAVING PBC HELP ADMINISTER OUR HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN.
UM, PBC IS, IS NON-PROFIT, SO, UM, ANYTHING OF THEIR BUDGET THAT THEY DO NOT SPEND, WE GET BACK AS A RE AS A REFUND.
TYPICALLY IT'S ALWAYS AT LEAST, UM, I WOULD SAY A MONTH, YOU KNOW, THAT WE AMOUNT, THAT WE ACTUALLY BILL TO THEM THAT WE DO GET BACK.
THEY ACTUALLY DID EVEN CUT THEIR BUDGET THIS YEAR.
SO AGAIN, WE ONLY PAY OUR COST SHARE.
SO YOU CAN SEE A VALUE OF, UM, A LITTLE OVER $1.8 MILLION.
OUR COST SHARE IS 41,231 AND PBC IS A CO-OP WITH DALLAS COUNTY, DENTON COUNTY, TARRANT COUNTY, THE TOLLWAY, AND PARKER COUNTY FOR OUR HEALTH INSURANCE.
IT GIVES ME ABOUT SEVEN EXTRA PEOPLE TO HELP WITH OUR HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN AND OBVIOUSLY I COULDN'T HIRE SEVEN ADDITIONAL EMPLOYEES FOR $41,000 A YEAR.

MANY OF THE RESIDENTS FISH HERE OFTEN WITH KIDS AND GRANDKIDS.
IF THE PROPERTY LINES ARE ALLOWED TO BE MODIFIED AS PROPOSED, IT WOULD REDUCE ALL RESIDENTS ACCESS BY APPROXIMATELY 30%.
IT SEEMS LIKE THE DEVELOPER IS TRYING TO IMPROVE ACCESS FOR THEM TO SELL THEIR LOT AT THE EXPENSE OF THE RESIDENTS LOSING PARTIAL ACCESS TO THE POND.
SO IF I'M ASKING ANYTHING OF THE COMMITTEE THIS MORNING, IT IS THAT YOU WOULD VOTE NO TO THE PROPOSED CHANGES AND RECOMMEND THE DEVELOPER DRAFT AN ALTERNATE SOLUTION.
