YES, CYNTHIA CALLED ME AND ASKED ME IF I'D BE INTERESTED IN SERVING ON THE ADVISORY COURT, UH, COMMITTEE.
AND I THINK THAT WOULD BE GOOD.

SO INSTEAD WE'D LIKE TO LOOK AT KIND OF A MATRIX OF OPTIONS.
BASED OFF OF THE SCIENCE AVAILABLE, BASED OFF OF THINGS LIKE COMMISSIONER WALDEN HAS SAID BEFORE ON WATER CONSERVATION, RAINWATER HARVESTING, THINGS LIKE THAT.
THAT'S GONNA BE THE MAIN FOCUS ON THE 22ND.
THE REASON THAT MR. SHAW'S HERE TODAY IS SO THAT WE CAN PROVIDE ANY FEEDBACK TO HIM AHEAD OF THAT TIME AND JUST TO KEEP THE CONVERSATION OPEN AND ONGOING.

AND WE, WE SIMPLY SAID, HEY, WE NEED TO HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT LIKE OUTDOOR WATERING AT THE VERY LEAST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER.
UM, YOU'D BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH THAT'S COMMON SENSE, RIGHT? LIKE, WHY WOULD YOU WATER AT TWO IN THE AFTERNOON WITH 103 DEGREES? BUT EVEN HAVING THAT CONVERSATION, IT, IT'S CRAZY HOW MUCH PUSHBACK YOU GET.
RIGHT? YOU KNOW, I WAS IN A MEETING LAST WEEK WITH A BUNCH OF WATER PEOPLE IN, YOU KNOW, IN THE METROPLEX AND THEY'RE LIKE, WAIT, WAIT A MINUTE, WAIT A MINUTE.
WE DON'T WANNA BE TELLING PEOPLE WHAT THEY CAN DO.
AND I GET THAT, THAT, THAT DISCUSSION.

UM, AND I WOULD SAY THOSE ARE THE HIGH ENDS THAT ARE WATERING THEIR LAWNS.
LIKE THE, THE NICER ONE ACRE LOT SUBDIVISIONS, UM, ON THE TWO ACRE LOTS WITH THE PRIVATE.
WELL OF COURSE, YOU KNOW, THERE'S NO METER.
WE DO KNOW WE HAVE SOME PEOPLE THAT, THAT ARE FRIENDLY WITH US, THAT ARE FRIENDS WITH SOME OF MY STAFF THAT ARE IN THAT SITUATION.
