SO THE, THE REMAINDER OF THAT AND THE OTHER, UH, UH, FOUR AND FIVE WILL COME OUT OF THE IT CONTINGENCIES.

I ASKED FOR, UH, DURING BUDGET TIME, SO I'M NOT ASKING FOR ANY MORE MONEY.

UH, BUT THIS WILL WEED UP, UH, JUST ABOUT ALL THOSE CONTINGENCIES I HAVE PUT IN FOR, UH, UH, THE RADIO TO CONTINUE.

THE BIGGEST PART OF THAT, UH, IS GONNA BE SMITH TOWER, UH, WAS OUTSIDE THE INITIAL SCOPE.

SO I DON'T KNOW THAT THIS ONE WAS TOO MUCH OF A, OF A SURPRISE.

BUT THE, THE WORK THAT'S DONE BEFORE THE PROJECT SOLD IS NOT THE, THE FULL STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT ARE DONE ON ANY OF THE TOWERS.

I THINK THEY DO A CURSORY LOOK AT IT, BUT I DON'T BELIEVE, AND I WASN'T INVOLVED IN, IN THE PRE-SALE PROCESS, BUT I DON'T BELIEVE, 'CAUSE TYPICALLY WE DON'T DO THE WHOLE RIGOROUS, UH, PE STUDY WHERE YOU LOAD IT ALL INTO THE, THE, THE LOAD STUDY TOOL AND, AND, YOU KNOW, COME UP WITH THE, WITH THE PERCENT LOADING OF THE TOWER.

SO, UM, WE TYPICALLY, BECAUSE OF THE TIME INVOLVED IN THE, UM, PROCESS NEEDED FOR THAT IS USUALLY NOT DONE ON THE, ON THE PRESALE SIDE.

AND SO THE AMOUNT FOR THAT PARTICULAR TOWER, THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT FOR THAT PARTICULAR TOWER, SO THAT'S IN CHANGE ORDER THREE.

UM, AFTER THE CONTINGENCY, THE REST OF THE CONTINGENCY IS APPLIED.

PLUS THE BIG DEAL IS DENSITY WITH THE HEAVY POPULATION, NEW BUILDING MATERIALS, BIGGER BUILDINGS, UH, UH, WE CAN'T GO IN WITH A, A HANDHELD RADIO AND GET COVERAGE INSIDE SOME OF THESE SCHOOLS, UH, NEW BUILDINGS.

SO WITH 700, UH, WE GET BETTER, UH, CAPACITY, UH, COVERAGE, BUT, UH, BETTER DENSITY INTO A LOT OF THE BUILDINGS AROUND, UH, PARKER COUNTY.

SO IF I, FOR PUBLIC SAFETY, IF I TRANSLATE THAT TO, TO MY LEVEL, WHICH IS SOMEWHERE AROUND CRAYON LEVEL, BASICALLY THIS HELPS THE GOOD GUYS GET TO WHERE THEY NEED TO BE AND GIVES THE RADIOS THE STRENGTH TO PENETRATE BUILDINGS LIKE THEY NEED TO.

I, UM, JUST FINISHING UP AROUND 90 DAYS, SO STARTING PREPARING FOR THAT HUNGRY DAY.

UM, ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

UH, ONE OF THE BIGGEST THINGS, UH, THAT I, UH, BRINGING TO THE COMMUNITY IS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

SO I, ABOUT 24 YEARS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE.

UM, I ACTUALLY WILL BE DOING MY 24TH BUDGET THIS YEAR, AND SO STAFF IS STARTING TO WORK ON THAT.

UH, I GREW UP ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE DALLAS-FORT WORTH AREA.

GREW UP IN GREENVILLE.

UM, AND THIS IS ACTUALLY MY SECOND CAREER.

MY FIRST CAREER, UH, AT CIRA HIGH SCHOOL WAS I WAS IN THE FUNERAL BUSINESS.

SO I DID, UH, FUNERAL WORK FOR 10 YEARS, DECIDED THAT WASN'T THE WAY THAT I WANTED TO RAISE A FAMILY.

NOT THAT THERE'S NOTHING BAD ABOUT THE FUNERAL BUSINESS, UNLESS YOU OWN, DON'T OWN THE, IF YOU OWN THE, UH, A FUNERAL HOME, IT'S GREAT, BUT IF YOU'RE JUST WORKING THERE, HOURS ARE HORRIBLE.

UH, I GOT MY ACCOUNTING DEGREE FROM EAST TEXAS, UH, STATE, UH, UH, UNIVERSITY, AND, UM, PART OF THE A AND M SYSTEM THERE IN COMMERCE.

UH, I HAVE A, UH, MASTER'S IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION FROM UT UTA.

I'M A CERTIFIED PUBLIC MANAGER.

UM, I, UH, DECIDED I WANTED TO GET IN CITY MANAGEMENT WHILE WORKING FOR THE TOWN OF FAIRVIEW.

SO MY, UH, THE LARGEST CITY THAT I'VE WORKED FOR, UH, WAS CITY MCKINNEY WHEN I STARTED.

THERE WAS 50,000 POPULATION WHEN I LEFT, WAS 120,000 POPULATION.

UH, SO GOT A LOT OF EXPERIENCE ON THE FINANCE SIDE THERE.

DECIDED I WANTED, UH, TO GO INTO CITY MANAGEMENT WHILE I WAS IN FAIRVIEW.

AND THAT TOOK ME ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE COAST.

AND SO I, UH, SPENT FOUR YEARS AS THE ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER FOR THE CITY OF LAPORTE.

AND THERE I LEARNED A LOT OF, UH, THINGS ABOUT PUBLIC SAFETY.

I WAS, UH, MAINLY SPENT A LOT OF TIME IN OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT.

UH, AND THEN, UH, MY FIRST CITY MANAGEMENT GIG WAS IN, UH, UH, THE CITY OF, UH, NAVASOTA, UH, AND NAVASOTA A LOT LIKE, UH, MINERAL WELLS.

WE, UH, WE SHARE TWO COUNTIES.

AND SO THERE, THE MAJORITY OF OUR CITY WAS IN GRIMES COUNTY WITH A PORTION IN BRAZOS.

SIMILAR MINERAL WELLS WITH THE MAJORITY IS IN PAL PAL PINTO, BUT WE DO HAVE A PORTION, UH, IS IN PARKER COUNTY.

AND SO, UH, MY, MY THING IS, MY, MY FIRST, LIKE I SAID, THE FIRST A HUNDRED DAYS IS TRYING TO GET THOSE RELATIONSHIPS.

I'M STILL DRINKING FROM A FIRE HOSE, TRYING TO GO AROUND AND MEET EVERYBODY, UH, AND WANTED TO BE SURE THAT I CAME OVER HERE AND, AND MET, AND YOU COULD SEE ME, MEET ME IN PERSON.

AND, UM, TO DECREASE DUPLICATION, INCREASE EFFICIENCY, AND LEVERAGE RESOURCES TO REMOVE BARRIERS.

BASICALLY, PARKER COUNTY SYSTEM OF CARE IS A HUB FOR ALL OF OUR RESOURCES HERE IN PARKER COUNTY.

THIS IS WHERE ALL OF OUR ENTITIES COME TOGETHER, NONPROFITS, FAITH BASE, EVERYONE COMES TOGETHER, EDUCATES OUR COMMUNITY, AND, UM, EXPLAINS HOW THE RESOURCES ARE, UH, AVAILABLE TO OUR COMMUNITY.

WE ALSO TALK ABOUT OUR NEEDS, UM, BASED OUT OF DATA, UH, THAT IS PROVIDED TO US.

COOK'S CHILDREN IS ONE OF OUR STRONGEST AND BIGGEST PARTNER, UM, HERE IN PARKER COUNTY.

AND THEY, UM, HAVE PROVIDED OUR COMMUNITY HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENT, WHICH IN TWO WEEKS, THE UPDATED ONE IS GONNA COME OUT.

BUT WE DON'T HAVE THAT THAT'S GONNA BE PRESENTED ON A SUMMIT.

UM, BUT THIS IS THE PREVIOUS, UM, DATA THAT WAS PROVIDED.

AND FROM THAT DATA, THAT'S HOW WE, UM, DECIDE, YOU KNOW, WHAT, WHAT OTHER RESOURCES NEED TO BE BROUGHT IN, WHERE THE NEEDS ARE ON, OR EITHER NORTH EAST, SOUTH OF SIDE OF, OF THE COUNTY.

UM, AND BECAUSE OF THAT REASON, WE DECIDED THAT WE NEEDED TO, UM, READ INTO DETAIL ON OUR DATA ON WHAT THE BIG, THE BIGGEST NEEDS WERE FOR, UM, OUR YOUTH AND OUR, UH, CHILDREN, RIGHT? AND SO, UNFORTUNATELY RIGHT NOW, UH, WE HAVE HAD A RECENT LOSS OF SOME STUDENTS IN PARKER COUNTY, AND, AND IT'S DUE TO SUICIDE.

AND SO THAT JUST BRINGS ALERT, YOU KNOW, IT BRINGS US A RED, GIVES US A RED FLAG TO CONTINUE TO, UM, PROMOTE AWARENESS IN REGARDS TO CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH.

AND SO PROJECT THRIVE IS BASICALLY, UM, IN SCHOOL PROGRAM THAT OFFERS, UH, SERVICES TO OUR YOUTH, UM, TO STRENGTHEN THEIR MENTAL HEALTH.

AND SO WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED, UM, TO HAVE EIGHT OF 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 MOUS IN OUR SCHOOL DISTRICTS.

UH, WITH OVER A HUNDRED REFERRALS, UH, UP TO DATE.

THAT MEANS OVER A HUNDRED STUDENTS ARE GETTING SERVICES UNDER THIS GRANT AT NO COST.

UNFORTUNATELY, THIS GRANT IS GONNA BE COMPLETED, IT'S GONNA CLOSE OUT IN AUGUST, AND IT'S VERY SAD FOR US TO NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO RENEW THIS GRANT.

BUT EVEN WITH THAT, PARKER COUNTY SYSTEM OF CARE IS NOT GONNA GIVE UP.

WE'RE GONNA CONTINUE TO HELP, UH, PARKER COUNTY, UH, ENTITIES TO CONTINUE TO OFFER RESOURCES TO CONTINUE TO EDUCATE OUR COMMUNITY, TO SUPPORT OUR YOUTH AND OUR FAMILIES, UM, WITH PARKER COUNTY SYSTEM OF CARE.

CYNTHIA, I, I THINK IN, IN, JUST IN THIS SPIRIT OF TIME, I THINK JUST WRAP IT UP IN THE NEXT FEW SECONDS.
