HOW'S THAT? AN ELEVATOR PITCH OF IT? UH, THERE WAS A NUMBER OF, UH, ITEMS IN THE, UH, GEL WHERE WHEN WE DID OUR INITIAL DESIGN, WE WERE INFORMED THAT SOME THINGS WOULD BE TAKEN OUT DURING DEMO AND PANELS WOULD BE AVAILABLE, AND WE'D HAVE ADDITIONAL CIRCUITS SO WE COULD RUN TO THE NINE 11.

'CAUSE IT'S GONNA REQUIRE ADDITIONAL POWER THAN WHAT THE CURRENT SYSTEM HAS.

UH, THOSE ITEMS WERE NOT DEMOED AND THEY REMAINED IN PLACE, THEREFORE, WE HAD TO FIND NEW PANELS AND THAT WOULD REQUIRE ADDITIONAL COST TO DO THAT.

IN ADDITION, UH, FOR THE ACTUAL CONSOLES, UH, THERE'S THREE KINDS OF POWER THAT GO TO THEM.

ONE IS JUST STRAIGHT POWER THAT COMES FROM THE POWER COMPANY.

SECOND IS GENERATOR BACKUP.

UH, THOSE CIRCUITS, THEY CAN GO DOWN FOR MOMENTS AS THE GENERATOR COMES ON.

AND THAT WORKS FOR A LOT OF THINGS LIKE FANS AND OTHER THINGS.

BUT THE THIRD TYPE IS A UPS GENERATOR BACKED UP, AND THERE'S POTENTIAL, WE NEED ADDITIONAL UPS POWER, UNINTERRUPTED POWER SOURCE SO THAT IF THE POWER DOES GO DOWN, THAT LAG BETWEEN THE TIME THE POWER GOES DOWN AND THE GENERATOR COMES UP, UH, YOU STILL HAVE POWER.

AND SO THAT'S THE LARGE PART OF THIS CHANGE ORDER, IS TO ENSURE THAT WE HAVE THE APPROPRIATE POWER BETWEEN THE TWO.

WE THINK THAT LAST ITEM, UH, WE'RE WORKING WITH NTC NINE 11, WHICH IS THE, UH, GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION THAT TAKES CARE OF NINE 11 CALLS AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONSOLES AND HOW THEY WORK.

UH, WE THINK WE MAY BE ABLE TO SKIP THAT ONE AND REDUCE THE CHANGE ORDER FROM 27,000 DOWN TO ABOUT 12,000.

UH, WE'RE HOPING TO GET THAT FLESHED OUT IN THE NEXT DAY OR SO.

UH, WE ARE REQUESTING PERMISSION TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THIS WITH THE 27, AND IF WE CAN REDUCE IT, THAT'S WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO.

UH, BUT IN THE LIMITED TIME WE HAD LAST WEEK, WE WEREN'T ABLE TO GET THAT NAILED DOWN ON THE EXACT AMPERAGE THAT THEY NEED AT EACH CONSOLE.

WE DID GET MIDWAY ADVERTISED LAST WEEK AND ARE TARGETING, UH, JULY 31ST TO OPEN, UH, BIDS ON MIDWAY WN WOODY'S UNDER CONSTRUCTION.

UH, WE COME TO AN AGREEMENT ON THE RIGHT OF WAY FOR THOMAS ROAD.

SO WE'RE FINALIZING, UH, THE DESIGN AND THEN WE'LL BE ABLE TO ADVERTISE THOMAS AS WELL.

UH, TECH STOCK STARTED THE, THE RIGHT TURN LANE, UH, FOR THE STEWART, UH, INTERSECTION THAT WAS PART OF THAT, THAT SIGNAL PROJECT.

AND THEN WE'RE FINALIZING THE CLOSEOUT DOCUMENTS FOR ELLIS CREEK.

UH, WE GOT COMMENTS ON THE 30% PLANS FOR 51 AND CARTER.

AND SO WE'RE ADDRESSING THOSE COMMENTS AND WORKING TOWARDS THE 60% SUBMITTAL.

UH, HALF HAS BEEN, UH, WORKING ON DIFFERENT ALIGNMENT OPTIONS AND A PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT PLAN FOR SEVEN 30.

UH, SO LAST WEEK WE HAD A COORDINATION MEETING WITH TEXT DOG ON THAT.

AND THEN ARE LOOKING TO, UH, SCHEDULE MEETINGS WITH, UH, THE PUBLIC, UH, TO SHARE THE, THE, THAT PROGRESS.

AND THEN, UM, I'M WORKING ON THE POJO.

THIS IS A, A STUDY, UH, ACTUALLY TRYING TO WRAP THAT UP THIS WEEK, UH, ON, UM, WHAT WOULD BE THE REALIGN OR IT'S, UH, EXTENSION OF POJO ROAD, UH, PRECINCT THREE, OF COURSE WE BID, UH, RICK WILLIAMSON.

THE, THE RAMP IS ACTUALLY THE ONE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL THAT'S THE 90% COMPLETE.

UH, THE FRONTAGE ROAD PROJECT IS THE PART THAT, THAT WE JUST STARTED 'EM ON, WHICH IS THE FRONTAGE ROADS, UH, THAT ARE KIND OF ADJACENT TO TESKEY.

SO I GOT THE, UH, FLIPPED IN THE ORDER THERE, UH, IN PRECINCT FOUR.

UM, SO WE'RE WORKING ON, UH, WE DID GET COMMENTS BACK ON THE PERMIT SET FOR CONNECTING TO 1187 AND THE SIGNAL MODIFICATIONS THERE.

UH, AND WE'RE ALSO WORKING ON THE, THE RIGHT OF WAY COORDINATION, UH, RIGHT NOW, UH, KIND OF FOCUSED ON THE PART FROM 1187 TO VERNON AND DEAN, UH, AND WORKING WITH THOSE PROPERTY OWNERS.

UH, WE'VE BEEN DOING SOME COORDINATION WITH, UH, THE CITY OF WILLOW PARK AND, UH, SOME LANDOWNERS FOR THE BANKHEAD BRIDGE.

I THINK WE GOT CONSENSUS ON THE ALIGNMENT, UH, FOR THAT PROJECT TO MAKE SURE THE TWO PROJECTS ARE MATCHING UP.

UH, WE DID, UH, THE A FA WAS EXECUTED FOR THE FM FIVE INTERSECTION, AND WE'VE BEEN UNDERWAY ON DESIGN FOR A WHILE ON THAT PROJECT.

UH, OLD WEATHERFORD ROADS UNDER CONSTRUCTION, AND WE'RE CONTINUING TO KIND OF WORK.

WE OBVIOUSLY HAVE A MAJOR WATER LINE TO ADJUST THAT'S FORT WORTH.

SO WE'RE WORKING WITH THEM AND, UH, WORKING WITH, UH, THE LANDOWNERS ADJACENT TO THAT PROJECT.

SO THIS IS THE WIDENING PROJECT THAT TEON PERKINS IS DOING.

AND SO THEY'RE KIND OF FINALIZING THE SCHEMATIC DESIGN.

UH, THEY HAVE COMPLETED THE TRAFFIC WORK AND ARE WORKING ON THE, UH, DRAINAGE STUDY.

AND THEN KELLY ROAD, WE DID OPEN BIDS ON THAT PROJECT AND ARE KIND OF EVALUATING, LOOKING TO AWARD THAT PROJECT AT THE NEXT COURT.

AND SO SOMETHING THAT THE COMMITTEE WAS, UM, I BELIEVE UNANIMOUS ON COMMISSIONER WALDEN CAN CONFIRM THAT, IS THAT WE THINK IT WOULD BE WISE FOR US TO CONSOLIDATE FROM THE GENERAL FUND.

ANY DEPARTMENT THAT'S PULLING FROM THE GENERAL FUND, UM, FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THEIR BUDGET WOULD ELIMINATE THEIR CONTINGENCY LINE GOING FORWARD EFFECTIVE AT THE NEW BUDGET.
